Description
The title for this month is The House We Grew Up In by Lisa Jewell.
Before tragedy strikes one Easter weekend, the Bird Family is enjoying a bucolic life in the Cotswolds. The event is so devastating that it begins to tear the family apart. Years pass and the children become adults and each of them goes their separate ways until something happens that calls them back to the house they grew up in--and to find out what really happened so many years ago.
Critics' Circle meets in-person on the third Tuesday of the month (except December) at 6:30 pm for a discussion of new and classic titles. New readers are always welcome. This book discussion is led by Margaret Eustace.
Many of the book discussion titles can be downloaded via the Library's Hoopla or Overdrive services. Check for video instructions on using Hoopla. Print copies are available at the library for most book groups. Call 203-438-2282 about reserving books. Copies can also be purchased at Books on the Common at a 15% discount.
