Hybrid: Murder by the Book
The title for this month is The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell.
Soon after her twenty-fifth birthday, Libby Jones receives a letter she’s been waiting for her entire life where she learns the identity of her birth parents and that she is the sole inheritor of their abandoned mansion on the Thames in London’s fashionable Chelsea neighborhood worth millions. Libby’s life is about to change as she is on a collision course to meet others who have been waiting for this day as well.
Join us for Murder by the Book, the library's mystery book discussion group, which meets in-person on the first Thursday of the month from January through November with an option to participate via Zoom at 10:30 am. Participants will discuss a selected book from different mystery authors. For fans of mysteries of all kinds—from cozies to spy thrillers! This book discussion is led by Adult Services Librarian Kelly-Ann Gardella.
*You may also choose to attend the program online. Everyone who registers below will receive the Zoom link.
Many of the book discussion titles can be downloaded via the library's Hoopla or Overdrive services. Check for video instructions on using Hoopla. Print copies are available at the library for most book groups. Call 203-438-2282 about reserving books. Copies can also be purchased at Books on the Common at a 15% discount.
