Program Description

Description

The title for this month is Where Angels Fear to Tread by E.M. Forster.

When young widow Lilia Herriton marries a penniless Italian, her in-laws are unamused. That the marriage should fail and poor Lilia die tragically are to be expected. But that Lilia should have had a baby—and that the baby should be raised as an Italian!—are matters requiring immediate correction by Philip Herriton, his dour sister Harriet, and their friend Miss Abbott

The A.M. Book Discussion Group meets in-person with an option to participate via Zoom on the fourth Wednesday of the month (except December) at 10:00 am. New readers are always welcome. The book discussion is led by Tom Madden.

*You may also choose to attend the program online. Everyone who registers below will receive the Zoom link.

Many of the book discussion titles can be downloaded via the Library's Hoopla or Overdrive services. Check for video instructions on using Hoopla. Print copies are available at the library for most book groups. Call 203-438-2282 about reserving books. Copies can also be purchased at Books on the Common at a 15% discount.
