Join us online for a reading by outstanding poets representing each of the state’s four corners, plus one from the central Hartford area. Our March reading features Julie Cook, Brian Cordell, Daniel Donaghy, Dolores Hayden, and Clare Rossini.

Hosted and curated by Ridgefield Poet Laureate Emerita Barb Jennes, Poems from Connecticut’s Four Corners readings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00.

Julie Cook is a published poetry and fiction writer as well as a musician, teacher, and composer. She often combines spoken word  with spontaneous music to create a unique in-the-moment experience.

Brian Cordell is the author of the chapbook In Their Final Performance. He earned an M.F.A. from Vermont College of Fine Arts and is an Associate Professor at Bergen Community College.

Daniel Donaghy is the author of five poetry collections. He is Professor of English at Eastern Connecticut State University and serves as Poet Laureate of Windham, CT.

Dolores Hayden’s poems have appeared in Poetry, Yale Review, The Common, Verse Daily, and Best American Poetry. Her most recent collection is Exuberance. Dolores is a retired Yale professor.

Clare Rossini, author of three poetry collections, has had work appear in Iowa ReviewPoetry, and The Best American Poetry. She recently retired after teaching at the collegiate level for 40+ years.
