ONLINE: Poems from Connecticut’s Four Corners – September Edition

We’re back – with a bang! Join us online as Poems from CT’s Four Corners returns from summer hiatus with an amazing lineup of poets!

Hosted and curated by Ridgefield Poet Laureate Emerita Barb Jennes, Poems from Connecticut’s Four Corners readings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00.

Bruce Cohen has published five volumes of poetry. His poems and essays appear in many literary journals, including Poetry Daily, Verse Daily, and Poem-A-Day. He is a member of the creative writing faculty at UConn.

Debora Kuan is the author of three poetry collections. She received an MFA in poetry from the Iowa Writers' Workshop and a BA in English literature from Princeton University. She is the poet laureate of Wallingford.

Clare Rossini’s poems and essays have appeared widely in journals and anthologies, and she is the author of three poetry collections. Recently retired from Trinity College, she continues to teach at conferences.

Jack Sheedy is an award-winning poet, playwright, essayist, and memoirist. His chapbook The Wanting Place was published in 2021. A new memoir, In My Father’s Tire Tracks, was published in March of 2024.

Liane Strauss is the author of four books of poetry, including The Flaws in the Story,  chosen by Mary Jo Bang to receive the 2023 Marsh Hawk Press Poetry Prize. She writes How To Read a Poem, a monthly substack.
