The title for this month is The Great Believers by Rebecca Makkai, 2018.
Set in 1980s Chicago and contemporary Paris. The story follows the director of a Chicago art gallery and a woman looking for her estranged daughter in Paris who both struggle to come to terms with the ways AIDS has affected their lives.
Critics' Circle meets in-person on the second Tuesday of the month (except December) at 6:30 pm for a discussion of new and classic titles. New readers are always welcome. This book discussion is led by Margaret Eustace.
