Description
The Ridgefield Conservation Commission published its review on the Town’s environmental health over two years ago. Come and learn how well the Town is doing in its stewardship of its natural resources from RCC Vice-Chairman Erik Keller. The lecture will summarize the study’s conclusions, recommendations, and address the following issues:
What areas in Town are threatened by development and pollution?
What can residents do to minimize harm to the environment?
How can the Town and residents work together to increase environmental health?
Erik is a retired horticulturist and therapist at Ann’s Place, a not-for-profit facility that helps those with cancer. He also has received certification from the University of Connecticut as a Master Gardener and from The New York Botanical Garden in Horticultural Therapy. He is also the author of the book, A Therapist's Garden.
