Description

The title for this month is The Winter of our Discontent by John Steinbeck.

Set in Steinbeck’s contemporary 1960 America, this award-winning novel explores the tenuous line between private and public honesty that today ranks it alongside his most acclaimed works of penetrating insight into the American condition.

The Founders Hall Book Group meets on the second Thursday of the month (except December) at 3:00 pm. This Book Group is open to Founders Hall members only. For more information about Founders Hall, click here. This book discussion is led by Andy Forsyth, the Ridgefield Library’s Assistant Director.
