Medicare Open Enrollment

Medicare Open Enrollment is October 15^th – December 7^th  

Ridgefield Social Services and the Ridgefield Library are once again offering Medicare counseling sessions for Medicare recipients during Open Enrollment. Certified Medicare CHOICES counselors, Karen Gaudian, Chris Christiansen, Patty Yaffa and Gina Cushman will be providing these sessions at the Ridgefield Library on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This program is offered to provide you with an unbiased review of your current Medicare coverage, assuring you have the best and most cost-effective coverage for 2026. The focus of these sessions is on traditional Medicare supplement/gap coverage and prescription drug plans.

This program is NOT intended to review Medicare Advantage plans.  

Last year, CHOICES volunteers saved $250,000 in projected costs for 2025.

Sessions are available Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am-1pm (except Thanksgiving week)

• If you do not have a Medicare account with username & password please create one at www.Medicare.gov.

What you need to bring: 

• Medicare.gov username & password
• Medicare card
• Complete Prescription list including, name of medications, dose and quantity.
