Medicare Open Enrollment is October 15th – December 7th
Ridgefield Social Services and the Ridgefield Library have joined forces to provide Medicare counseling sessions for Medicare recipients during Open Enrollment. Ridgefield’s team of certified Medicare CHOICES counselors will be providing reviews of Medicare prescription coverage at the library. This program is offered to provide you with an impartial review of your current prescription coverage and assure it is the best and most cost effective for 2025. Good News: legislation that going into effect 1/1/2025 caps prescription drug costs to $2000/year. However, it is being projected that premiums will be increasing substantially.
This program is NOT to review Medicare Advantage plans. If you are interested in switching back into traditional Medicare, (with a Medicare supplement and prescription coverage) we can help you look at those options and costs.
CHOICES volunteers have saved an average of $100,000 annually just on prescription drug costs since the inception of this program in 2014.
