Program Description

Description

The title for this month is Wrong Place Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister.

A psychological thriller about a mother who witnesses her teenage stab a man and then seizes on an unconventional way to save him. Can a murder be stopped after it’s already happened? After midnight one night she is waiting for her  seventeen-year-old son to return home and he is late. As she watches from the window her son emerges and he isn’t alone. He is walking toward a man, who is armed. She can’t believe it when she sees her son do this. That night she falls asleep in despair until she wakes up again, and it is yesterday, then she wakes up again, and it is the day before yesterday. Each morning she wakes up it’s another day before the murder – with another chance to stop it.

Join us for Murder by the Book, the library's mystery book discussion group, which meets in-person on the first Thursday of the month from January through November with an option to participate via Zoom at 10:30 am. Participants will discuss a selected book from different mystery authors. For fans of mysteries of all kinds—from cozies to spy thrillers! This book discussion is led by Adult Services Librarian Kelly-Ann Gardella.

*You may also choose to attend the program online. Everyone who registers below will receive the Zoom link.

Many of the book discussion titles can be downloaded via the library's Hoopla or Overdrive services. Check for video instructions on using Hoopla.
