Description

POSTPONED - PLEASE REGISTER IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO TAKE PART AND A NEW START DATE WILL BE EMAILED TO YOU WHEN WE HAVE IT.

The Ridgefield Library’s new Job Search Work Team (JSWT) is a networking and accountability group that will meet online weekly for 8 weeks on Tuesday mornings from 10 am to 12 pm beginning September 22.

This group is limited to 12 Ridgefield residents and will provide participants with a robust and meaningful group experience for those currently unemployed and searching for full-time work.

This team approach to job searching will give participants networking opportunities, peer support and tips, and includes accountability for weekly job search tasks. With the recent increase in unemployment in the town of Ridgefield due to COVID-19, the Library believes this new series serves to meet the evolving needs of our community.

Participation is limited to only twelve Ridgefield residents who are looking for full-time work and willing to fully commit to the 8-week JSWT.

Job Search Work Team (JSWT)

  • 8-weekly meetings beginning on Tuesday, September 22 from 10 am to 12 pm
  • For Ridgefield residents only
  • For those currently unemployed seeking full-time work

Please read the JSWT Contract before registering. There is no need to return this document to us but you should agree with all of the terms.

The Zoom link will be emailed on the day before the first meeting. Once you have registered for the first program in this series, you will automatically be registered for attending all eight programs. This program is part of the Library's new Find a Job: Career and Job Search Series.
