Description
Children entering grades 1-4 enhance their oral reading skills by reading to trained therapy dogs from ROAR Ridgefield. You will receive an email in the morning notifying you of the 15 minute time slot that your child has to read. Please bring a favorite book to read or pick one out in the library before your session. Registration is required.
Due to high demand, Ridgefield residents may be given preference for this program. Please let us know if you are unable to attend this program so we may offer your spot to another patron. Programs like this are made possible in part by the generosity of our donors.
Parents must remain in the building for the duration of the program. Children under the age of 12 cannot be dropped off. |
For children in grades K-3. Practice your reading skills by reading to a ROAR therapy dog. Registration required.
