COLORED PENCIL DRAWING Part II - Emphasis on Animals

This course is a continuation of Colored Pencil Drawing Part I, but with a focus on animals. In this series of six weekly sessions (note dates carefully), Moki Kokoris will guide students through the fundamentals of blocking - determining basic shapes and proportions of animal anatomy. We will also cover techniques for drawing fur, feathers, a variety of other textures, and particularly iridescence (in birds, colorful beetles, insects). Attendance at the previous course is not required, although some drawing experience is helpful.

Materials list:  Pad of white drawing paper (for mixed media), graphite pencil for initial sketching, good quality eraser, a set of colored pencils (18+ colors).

This is a six week series. Please register only for the first one, and you will be registered for all
