Program Description


Join Coach Carter in honing your chess skills and playing with other local Connecticut students! Please register for a free account at and email your name and username to before the class starts. Registration required. You only need to register once to attend all Spring classes. You will receive a Zoom Link with access to the class in the reminder email.

Spring Classes run until May 24, 2023. You will need to register separately for subsequent sessions.


Please note that we need a parent name in the registration form to acknowledge that those under the age of 18 have permission to join the program on this online, third party platform. 

We strongly recommend limiting the messages you can receive on your account to prevent spam. To limit your messages on, go to "Settings" on the bottom left of the home screen and then press "Privacy". You can then change send and receive messages to "Only My Friends" rather than "All Members". You can then change "Allow chat requests from" to "nobody". There are several options below that which will continue to restrict people from contacting you. Please email us at with any questions.


Due to high demand, Ridgefield residents may be given preference for this program.
