The title for this month is The Anarchy: The East India Company, Corporate Violence and the Pillage of an Empire by William Dalrymple (Chapters 1-5).
The is the story of how the East India Company took over large swaths of Asia, and the devastating results of a corporation running a country.
The Nonfictioneers book discussion group meets in-person with an option to participate via Zoom on the first Tuesday of the month at 6:00 pm (except January) to discuss contemporary non-fiction titles. New readers are always welcome. Please register below.

Many of the book discussion titles can be downloaded via the Library's Hoopla or Overdrive services. Check for video instructions on using Hoopla. Print copies are available at the library.
