DRAWING SHINY THINGS (glass, metal, gems, etc) - Colored Pencil Drawing with Moki Kokoris

In this colored pencil drawing course, students will learn how to draw objects that bling or glow or reflect. We will cover how to depict glass, with its refraction and translucence, different metals, and faceted gemstones, with their iridescent and glint qualities. We will work on toned/tinted and black paper (Strathmore 400 Series - 8 assorted tints, or Strathmore toned tan or gray 9X12 pad). Students should bring their own wax-based sets of colored pencils.

Classes are scheduled for May 8, 15, 22, June 5 and 11. Please register only for the first class on May 5th and you will be considered signed up for all.
