Program Description

Description

Join the skilled teachers of Happy Code Club as they delve into coding 3D games in Roblox Studio! Grades 3-5. Registration required and is for all four sessions.

From their catalog:

Students develop skills in 3D modeling, coding, and design by creating an obstacle course and using code to add gameplay elements like traps and other game features.

Kids will learn to code with Lua a coding language similar to Python but easier to learn. Kids can opt to play each others' games and may also demonstrate projects to their parents on the last day of class. Kids keep access to their Coding Studio and games they created and learn how to monetize their creations.

Prerequisites: Good typing skills required. Previous coding experience helpful but not required.
