Madona Giorgadze has had an eventful life so far. In post-Soviet Georgia, living became hard for her family. There was often no power, heat, food, or water, and her homework was done by candlelight in the cold.
Fast forwarding through the years- she came to Ridgefield with her daughters and second husband. Dona took an interest in cooking shows, and started preparing the food remembered from childhood. She became a private chef and a food photographer, and has led many classes. If you'd like to see more, here is her website: https://georgiancook.com/
Dona has written a beautiful book of her delicious recipes, remembered from tastes of foods her parents, grandparents, and friends' mothers made.
