Public Information Sessions:

Bringing Ridgefield’s Emergency Response into the 21st Century
Sat. June 15th at the Ridgefield Library – 2 Separate Sessions: 10am and 1pm

The Ridgefield Police and Fire Departments are currently housed in facilities that were built over a century ago. These outdated buildings no longer meet the evolving needs of Ridgefield’s Emergency Departments, First Responders or Community. Extensive research, including a feasibility study and site scouting, shows that a combined Fire and Police Public Safety Building at the Old Quarry Campus is the most efficient scenario, both logistically and financially.

Please join First Selectperson Rudy Marconi, members of the BOS & Police Commission, Police Chief Jeff Kreitz and Fire Chief Jerry Myers for a Public Information Session at the Ridgefield Library on Saturday, June 15th at 10am or 1pm to learn about the proposed project. The team will talk about the need for a new facility, project details and the process it took to get to this phase. Following a brief presentation will be a Q&A session.

There will be two information sessions: 10am and 1pm. No need to register!

Guided tours of the current Police and Fire Headquarters will be offered.

This event will be live streamed and recorded. It will be available on the Town of Ridgefield website.
