Join Kirsten and Lynn from the Anti-Racist Table to learn about and celebrate Juneteenth! This is the final session of the Seed for Social Justice Series, but is opened for all grades K-5 whether or not you attended prior sessions.
This session will have physical items to pickup from the Library, but participants will be contacted with this information and well as the Zoom meeting log-in information.
Part of the Library's "Understanding Race" Initiative, this series for students in K-5 led by educators Kirsten & Lynn from the Anti-Racist Table will promote age-appropriate discussion about race and skin color, establish a common language surrounding race to build Racial Literacy, and set a framework for students to understand and engage in social justice.
