Program Description
Description
Families with students in Grades K-5 are invited to meet local student Ruby Weiner and learn more about her community service projects, including Ruby's Little Pantries, small structures that hold food free to those who need it. Ruby will share the mission of Ruby's Little Pantries, then students will have a chance to help assemble ingredients for healthy meals to be donated to the five food pantries here in Ridgefield.
Ruby's Little Pantries will be hosting a food drive at the event. Donations of nonperishable, shelf stable food is welcome, but not required to participate. Please see the attached PDF for more information about the pantries and suggested donations.
Registration is required. Please register for your family and indicate how many adults and children in your group.
Programs like this are made possible through the generous donations of our patrons.
