Lynda Cohen Loigman, USA Today bestselling author of The Two-Family House, will give an Author Talk and share the inspiration for her second novel, The Wartime Sisters - a family story set against the backdrop of the Springfield Armory at the start of WWII. This program will include a discussion of the story’s themes - the complex bonds and battles families face and how our childhood roles define us - as well as a presentation of photos from the archives of the Armory in Springfield, Massachusetts. 

Lynda Cohen Loigman grew up in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. She received a B.A. in English and American Literature from Harvard College and a law degree from Columbia Law School. Her debut novel, The Two-Family House, was a nominee for the Goodreads 2016 Choice Awards in Historical Fiction.
