Join Connecticut poets Lou Garbordi, Dr. Jean Linville, Amy Nawrocki, and John Stanizzi as they share poems that celebrate and praise this fragile place we call home.

LOU GABORDI is a retired educator whose work has been recognized by The New Millennium Writing Awards and published in Waking Up to the Earth: CT Poets in a Time of Global Climate Crisis and Connecticut River Review. 

DR. JEAN LINVILLE is a visual artist, educator, writer, and native plant enthusiast. She is involved with The Ecotype Project at The Hickories Organic Farm in Ridgefield and serves on the Ridgefield Conservation Commission.

AMY NAWROCK is the author of six poetry collections, most recently Mouthbrooders (2019), a finalist for the 2020 Connecticut Book AwardShe teaches English at the University of Bridgeport where she's an Associate Dean.

JOHN STANIZZI is the author of ten books of poetry. His poems are widely published, including in the Waking Up to the Earth anthology. A former New England Poet of the Year, John teaches at Manchester Community College.
