Join us online for a reading by four renowned spoken-word poets!

Our June reading features CT State Beat Poet Laureate Patricia Martin, New Haven Poet Laureate Sharmont “Influence” Little, Hartford Poet Laureate Emeritus Frederick-Douglass Knowles II, and Elizabeth Thomas.

Hosted and curated by Ridgefield Poet Laureate Emerita Barb Jennes, Poems from Connecticut’s Four Corners readings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7:00.

Patricia Martin—State of CT Beat Poet Laureate (2023-2025)—is a poet, author, and freelance writer who has performed widely.

Sharmont “Influence” Little, New Haven’s inaugural poet laureate, is a poet, activist, educator, and actor.

Frederick-Douglass Knowles II is the author of BlackRoseCity. He is a Professor of English at CT State Community College.

Elizabeth Thomas is a published writer and performer. She hosts workshops and readings for all ages.
