Program Description

Description

August 19th is National Aviation Day, and what better way to mark it than with a fascinating discussion of the birth of commercial aviation. Juan Trippe was an American commercial aviation pioneer, entrepreneur and the founder of Pan American World Airways, one of the iconic airlines of the 20th century. He was able to foresee the future of passenger flight, and was instrumental in numerous revolutionary advances in airline history. Tony McKeen lectures widely on genealogy, art history, and travel.
