Description
In 2025, Ridgefield Historian Jack Sanders published A Ridgefield Reader: Three Centuries of Fact, Fiction, and Poetry Inspired by Ridgefield, Connecticut. The anthology includes everything from the 1708 deed of sale for the land that would become Ridgefield to poetry from the town’s current Poet Laureate, Ira Joe Fisher. In between are articles written throughout Ridgefield’s long history as well as fictional stories and poetry inspired by the town. On March 1, several of the book’s contributors will share contemporary stories, articles, and poems that shine a light on Ridgefield.
