Description
Discover the world of cheese in this engaging introduction to cheese basics. From a brief history of how cheese came to be, to understanding different styles and flavors, this class will guide you through the essentials—ending with practical tips on how to build a beautiful, well-balanced cheese platter.
Maribeth Coons has spent her career deep in the world of cheese—from importing and distribution to managing a brewery and running what was once considered the busiest cheese counter in the country. After years of hands-on experience sourcing, selling, and talking cheese with thousands of customers, she’s come full circle back at 109, continuing to share her passion and knowledge. Maribeth loves teaching the public in a way that’s approachable, informative, and never intimidating, helping people feel more confident (and excited) about enjoying great cheese.
