The Alzheimer's Association offers a range of caregiver skills-building courses, which aim to help caregivers feel more prepared to handle the challenges that come with caring for someone living with dementia.

Children entering Grades 4-6 join Kristin Quell-Garguilo to make Cherry Berry Bomb Slime! The recipe will be shared and all materials are provided. Please wear clothes that can get sticky and dirty.

Non-walking infants ages birth to 12 months with a caregiver are invited to drop into this informal group to network and enjoy baby time together. There will be a short introduction by a member of the library staff before each session.

Players will participate in strategy based games using painted miniature figures and terrained boards reminiscent of some famous conflicts in history.

Enjoy a playful movie each Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm in the Leir Children’s Program Room. Movies are either rated G or PG and will run between 90 and 120 minutes.

Families with children of all ages are invited to join Ms. Christie to talk, sing and read together in Spanish and English in this bilingual storytime!

Embrace the magic within! Each participant will be able to make their own custom wand with a variety of textures and materials. Grades 6 and up only because of hot glue gun use. 

Come pick up a kit to make a dragon egg! All materials included. Take & Make kits will be available outside the Ellis Family Teen Center while supplies last.
