Join us for a virtual book club. We will be discussing The Poet X by Elizabeth Acevedo which is available through Hoopla. This book is a 2021 Nutmeg Nominee on the High School List.

Xiomara Batista feels unheard and unable to hide in her Harlem neighborhood. Ever since her body grew into curves, she has learned to let her fists and her fierceness do the talking.
