Program Description

Description

Don't miss this special program with champion distance runner and Olympic hopeful Lindsay Flanagan in conversation with Laura Green, runner and running influencer.  Distance running is for ANY body, or anybody.  There will be great tips and tricks for running a full or 1/2 marathon. Join us at The Prospector Theater for a wonderful, lively evening of education and laughter!

Lindsay Flanagan's marathon championships include the 2017 World Championships in London and the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto. Flanagan won the 2022 Gold Coast Marathon, setting a course record in 2:24:43.

Laura Green is a comedic content creator who is a self described mega fan of all things running, especially professional racing. Her brain is a hamster wheel of self deprecating humor focused on the run and fitness industry, which she attempts to communicate via short videos and storytelling on social media.

This program is made possible through the generous support of Asics, Ridgefield Running Company and the Ridgefield Library's Noreen L. Papa: Mothers Live Your Life Fund.
