Program Description

Description

Children, teens, and adults welcome! (family/friend teams are allowed such as parents/kids and/or siblings/friends working together) Fans are welcome to drop-in and watch Pokémon battles throughout the tournament.

Register in the Lodewick Children’s Library on August 27 starting at 10:00 am. Sixteen (16) tournament players (teams) allowed for each tournament. You may participate in both tournaments. Prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places!

10:30-11:30 am: Free Play, Learn & Trading: Players of all ages and experience can learn how to play the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). You can borrow club deck to play or bring your and trade!

12:00-1:00 pm: Pokémon TCG SEALED Tournament: Players of all ages are given a premade Pokémon deck to use in a Swiss Tournament. Decks are randomly assigned. No other decks/cards allowed. Gameplay experience required.

1:30-2:30 pm: Pokémon TCG UNLIMITED Tournament: Players of all ages may bring any 60-card preconstructed deck to battle in a Swiss Tournament. Any official English Pokémon cards are allowed. Deck will NOT be provided. Player decks need to be inspected and approved before the tournament begins. Gameplay experience required.
