Reception - Mindscapes Abstract Painting Exhibition

Please come to see the Mindscapes contemporary abstract paintings exhibition at the artists' reception on Friday, January 25 from 4 - 6 PM. Mindscapes seeks to juxtapose a variety of abstract artists in order to reveal their individual personality and character as expressed through their art. Just as handwriting can be interpreted by experts to reveal the individual traits of the author, so can abstract art can be very telling about the kind of energy and emotion artists project in their work.

By contrasting the loud and quiet, the bold and subtle, the strong and gentle, this exhibition aims to cultivate a greater understanding of abstract art in our community and to present an inclusive cross-section of local artists.
