Program Description

Description

Join Noah Steinman, the Library's 2019 Maker-in-Residence for a workshop, we will investigate the world of Concrete and Black-Out Poetry. Looking at the ways in which text and language have been used in fine art, we will create a number of our own concrete and blackout poems that are equal parts visual art and part creative writing. Materials provided. This program is suitable for teens (13 and up) and adults.

The Maker-in-Residence initiative is made possible thanks to the Wadsworth Russell Lewis Fund and is part of the Library’s ongoing Making STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) activities.
