Program Description

Description

Teens and adults are welcome to join us for a book discussion of Jane Austen's classic Pride and Prejudice led by the Library's Assistant Director Andy Forsyth.

This program is co-sponsored by ACT of Connecticut. Be sure to check out their musical Austen's Pride playing at the ACT of Connecticut Theater from March 28 through April 14, 2019!

Austen's Pride Description: Imagine being able to step into the mind of one of the world’s greatest authors as she completes her masterpiece... Austen’s Pride springs to life as Jane Austen transforms her rough draft into a beloved classic. As the characters from Pride and Prejudice come to life around her, Jane Austen learns to see both the story and herself in a new light. With a glorious and sweeping score, Austen’s Pride is a Connecticut premier, and we are thrilled that our audiences will be the first to see it!
