Whether you are training for a marathon or looking to maintain your regular running routine, this lecture will be of interest. Dr. Henshaw will look at the most common injuries plaguing runners today, discuss how to avoid them  and recommend what to do if you are already afflicted by pain. 

Dr. Ross Henshaw is a fellowship-trained knee and shoulder orthopedic surgeon, who specializes in the treatment of sports-related injuries. Dr. Henshaw's work at OrthoConnecticut’s Center for Sport Medicine covers athletes of all ages – from the recreational to the professional.  He has published several articles and presented papers on rotator cuff injuries, ACL injuries, and orthopedic implants.
