Program Description

Description

Join us for Understanding and Using “The Cloud” with Mike Ingber.

The Cloud refers to the sharing of data and programs over the Internet. Here are some common examples of using the Cloud: Sharing files or photos, backing up important data, using online versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other popular programs, using Amazon to access your music library from anywhere, and so on. What are the advantages of using the Cloud? Is the Cloud safe? Concepts and usage of the Cloud will be demonstrated and discussed. Come and finally understand what is meant by “The Cloud”!

This program is funded by the Paul and Johanna Laszig Fund
