Program Description

Description

Ridgefield Conservation Commission presents an exhibition titled, "Ridgefield's Natural Resources" which will be on view this summer in the Library's lower level gallery from July 13 - August 22 during regular Library hours. Please note the Library will be closed on summer Sundays. Come and explore this exhibition of relevant maps and photographs which represent the culmination of over two years of work aimed at updating the Ridgefield Natural Resources Inventory, (NRI).

There will be a talk on July 15 at 2 p.m. in the Library's Main Program Room about the most recent update of the Natural Resources Inventory (NRI) and how it compares with the last inventory done in 2011. Additionally, there will be a tour of the RCC's website and a newly added digital story map, created by PACE University student Madelyn Garcia, under the guidance of Professor Michael Rubbo. Information about how to become a trail ranger or citizen scientist will also be shared.
