Description

While many residents have heard of the Ridgefield Conservation Commission they may not realize that this 11-member volunteer group is responsible for maintaining over 2,800 acres of open space, 55 miles of trails, and a myriad of other tasks. This talk will explore all the activities the RCC is engaged in and its mission to protect the natural resources of the Town. Chairman Jim Coyle will review its major initiatives (and concerns) for 2024 and beyond.
