On Thursday evening, June 2, 2022 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm join Kristin Lessard of Weir Farm for an inspiring introduction to Weir Farm National Historical Park prior to the reception for Bobbi Eike Mullen’s exhibition, “Weir Inspired!” which will take place from 6:00 - 7:30 pm.

Ms. Lessard will talk about the beauty and history of Weir Farm National Historical Park - a national and regional cultural gem which sits on the Wilton/Ridgefield line. She will also discuss art programming at Weir Farm.

The discussion will include a brief history of Weir Farm and how it became part of the National Park Service, as well as current programs and opportunities to get involved. Ms. Lessard will highlight the artistic legacy of Weir Farm, and how contemporary artists, like Bobbi Eike Mullen, use the park as a source of inspiration and creativity.

Ms. Lessard will also about the exciting Art in the Park programming, including the Park's Artist-in-Residence program, Take Part in ArtImpressionist Painting Workshops, and more! Weir Farm is a national legacy to American Impressionism, the creative spirit, and historic preservation. Discover this National Park for Art, and be inspired by of generations of world-class artists, including America's most beloved Impressionist J. Ms. Lessard has worked for the National Park Service since 2008, serving in varied professional roles across multiple disciplines including Resource Interpretation, Education, Public Affairs, Project Management, and Youth and Volunteer Engagement. In her current position as Visitor Experience Program Manager at Weir Farm National Historical Park, Kristin oversees the park’s visitor service operations and engagement initiatives, which include history and fine art education programming for approximately 40,000 visitors a year, as well as dynamic youth and volunteer programs.
