Grades 3–5Program Description
Description
Join our Creative Writing Club to meet with other young writers and share your work! Using prompts and guidance from Ms. Heather, writers in grades 3-5 will work on their writing projects, whether it be a short story, poetry, or a longer project. Imagination and registration required. The first time that you register, you'll receive a notebook for your masterpieces. Programs like this are made possible in part by the generosity of our donors.
To celebrate National Poetry Month, we're doing a Poetry Palooza! Each writer will use prompts to challenge themselves to write several poems during our club meeting.
Due to high demand, Ridgefield residents may be given preference for this program.
If you have registered for a program that you can no longer attend, please inform Library staff at your earliest convenience. Your registered spot will be held for 10 minutes after the start of a program and released to the next on the waiting list if Library staff is not informed.
