Program Description
Description
Students in Grades K-5 are invited to explore authentic animal furs, organic instruments, and artifact replicas with Native American Storyteller Darlene Kascak (Schaghticoke Tribal Nation), from The Institute for American Indian Studies as she gives an interactive presentation of the 10,000-year history of Life in the Eastern Woodlands.
With hands-on activities children will learn about working together for the good of the community, how nature can be used to inspire innovation, and how that knowledge can benefit everyone today.
Registration is required. Programs like this are made possible by the generous donations of our patrons.
