Program Description
Description
Families with children of all ages are invited to this Meet and Greet with members of the National Competition Elite Team from Ridgefield Taekwondo. Master Jeong and Master Jo have been training young athletes in the Korean Martial Art, Taekwondo, for many years. They have touched the mind and spirit of Ridgefielders young and old. They will share their story of being members of the Korean National team, competing on the international stage, and their journey to the United States, resulting in starting the Ridgefield Taekwondo school. Members of the Elite Team, which participated in the 2023 AAU National Competition in Florida, will perform demonstrations of their incredible skills. The team will also be available after the presentation for a meet and greet and signatures on special give away photo cards. This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate diversity within our community and meet these up and coming young athletes.
Registration is not required, but encouraged to gauge space needs.
