Program Description

Toni McKeen will describe the lives and work of three brave, intelligent women you may not know about.

Virginia Hall was one of America's greatest spies, working for the OSS, the precursor of the CIA.

Actor Hedy Lamarr was not only a pretty face, but an inventor, a visionary whose technological acumen was far ahead of its time- one of the greatest unsung heroes of 20th century technological progress.

Rose Zar (pictured) "lived in the mouth of the wolf" as she, a Jewish woman, bravely lived in plain sight of the Germans, working for a Nazi SS commander and his wife.
