Description
The person behind one of the most popular dolls ever developed was a woman. Against all odds and tradition, Ruth Handler was a marketing genius who developed the grown-up doll, although others at Mattel told her it would never sell. Up to then, only baby dolls were considered appropriate for girls. Through the years, Barbie reflected the changing times, and was at the top of the list of toys for all young girls. Come hear the real Barbie story!
