Mary Pickford, a legendary pioneer in the American film industry transformed herself from silent screen star to Hollywood mogul with a career that spanned five decades.  The “Girl with the Curls” did much to shape Hollywood, co-founding United Artists, and did much and helped establish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Learn about this amazing, high-achieving woman and her lasting mark on Hollywood.
