Program Description

Description

The Ridgefield Historical Society is conducting two planning charrette workshops to share what researchers have found out about the Battle of Ridgefield. RHS wants to get your feedback about how to best use the battle site to promote Ridgefield's local history.

A charrette, is a hands-on period of planning activity. The word charrette may refer to any collaborative session in which a group drafts solutions to a problem.

Researchers are compiling the history of the Battle of Ridgefield, and we want you to weigh in on how to share this history!

All are welcome! Help us determine how we can honor the Battle and preserve the battlefield for generations to come.

This online charrette will be held on May 12 from 7:00 - 8:30 pm and an in-person charrette will be held on Sunday, June 12, 2:00 – 3:30 pm at the Ridgefield Library. Participants are asked to attend one or the other.

This event is being hosted by the Ridgefield Historical Society with the collaboration and support of the Ridgefield Library.

This charrette will be facilitated by FHI Studio.

Registration for both charrettes is through the Ridgefield Historical Society.
