Program Description

Description

Every year in the fall, photographer Jeff Eyrich travels to Greece to the island of Patmos to interact and photograph Octopuses in their natural environment.. He spends his days on Patmos out in his small boat, free-diving, and looking for Octopuses. He describes his relationship to the Octopuses he photographs as unforgettable and emotionally rewarding. He finds the Octopuses are incredibly intelligent, beautiful perceptive and curious. He has been going to Patmos for 40 years and all the  photos in this exhibit are from his recent tip to Patmos this past September and October 2023.
