Make Music Ridgefield is joining over 1000 cities worldwide in a global celebration of music inspired by France’s te de la Musique on Friday, June 21, 2019.

Completely different from a typical music festival, Make Music Ridgefield is open to anyone who wants to take part. Every kind of musician — young and old, amateur and professional, of every musical persuasion — pours onto streets, parks, plazas, and porches to share their music with friends, neighbors, and strangers. All of it is free and open to the public.

“We are thrilled with the response so far… the level of participation, creative ideas and excitement is bringing out the best of Ridgefield," says Jennifer DiLaura, from the Ridgefield Arts Council. Town Hall, The Ridgefield Library, Keeler Tavern, Lounsbury House and Ballard Park will host various musical groups and individuals wanting to play or sing along.

Pianos, painted by the artists of The Ridgefield Guild of Artists, will be on the streets in front of Rodier Flowers, Blue Bus Music, Kafo and other  locations around town will be waiting to be played by the public.

No registration.
