Peter Sooy from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland will talk about the build and launch of the James Webb Space Telescope in 2021. He will also cover an overview of the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, NASA’s next flagship observatory that is scheduled to launch by May 2027, and is designed to settle essential questions in the areas of dark energy, exoplanets, and infrared astrophysics.
